In this post-truth era where any fact can be questioned and people tend to believe what they need to believe to make sense of their values, it’s important to hold government to account if politics is to be more than the art of messaging.
One way you can do this is to participate in a Community Council for Australia survey asking sector leaders and experts about their experience and perception of the Albanese government’s progress in implementing its agenda.
The survey asks important questions about what’s changed, what’s working and what hasn’t shifted, and it also encourages participants to describe their outlook as leaders of charities and community groups.
Sharing these views is important, as the results will help the sector push for reforms that will make a real difference to its performance, social impact, and sustainability.
To participate in the survey, please register by emailing CCA partnerships manager Deborah Smith at deborahs@communitycouncil.com.au.
CCA will then send you a survey link.
Accountability is healthy, builds political capital, tracks progress, and helps ensure positive change happens.
Play your part by completing the CCA survey today.
Beyond the rhetoric: Let's rate this government on its performance
